My Nana’s “Best Tasting” Uncooked Flour Tortillas 1-2 cups of canola oil

Pre-heat the oil at Medium high temperature using a medium size frying pan. Pour enough oil in pan at ¼ inch level. Dip the tortilla end into the pan. If the tortilla bubbles around the edges, the oil is ready. Use a pair of tongs to place one uncooked flour tortilla in the preheated oil. Allow it to brown on both sides. Once the tortilla is browned place the “Buñuelo” on paper towels and add your favorite topping and enjoy!
